How to Stop Feeling Judged by Other People.

We all feel judged by other people sometimes... it’s just a natural part of being a human being, but if it happens too much, or happens all the time, it can feel horrible, and can have a huge impact on your life!

Sometimes it just seems that no matter what you do or say, it feels like there’s always someone who’s bound to be thinking badly of you for some reason or other.

If you say what’s on your mind, if feels like people will be critical, will laugh at you, or talk about you behind your back.

People can feel judged by other people in all sorts of situations, from having to make presentations or speeches, to using public toilets, going to parties, taking exams, or talking on the phone.

As I say, everyone feels ‘judged’ now and again, but if it happens all the time, or is a really strong feeling, it can feel really bad, and have a detrimental impact on your life, so if that’s you, you know just how bad that ‘judged’ feeling can be.

But what if you could change the way you feel, so that you didn’t feel so judged all the time…   how would that feel?

What if you could take all those situations in life where you feel judged, and change the way you feel about them, so that instead of feeling judged, you could feel confident and secure in yourself instead?

What if you could feel confident in your own thoughts and feelings, and more secure in your self esteem, so that you feel able to speak your mind without worrying about what other people think of you?  How would that feel?

Well, part of the secret of feeling more confident and having a boost to your self esteem, is understanding the difference between perception and reality…   do we really know that people are thinking badly of us, or is it just the way we perceive it?

What if we could see that the way that we perceive, and perhaps even more importantly, believe that people are thinking about us, is based far more on our perceptions, than it is on reality?

If you could do that, then you’d be well on the way to being able to change everything.

That’s what we call ‘Supervising Your Thinking’.

If you can understand what really happens when you feel judged by other people, and feel able to do something about it, then you’ll be able to feel a lot better in those situations where you’ve felt judged in the past.

The fact of the matter is, that changing things so that you feel far more confident and with a higher self-esteem, is actually a lot easier than you might think.

Techniques that you can use to overcome the 'judged' feelings

Part of the reason that you feel judged, is simply that you’ve never been shown how to ‘Supervise' your thinking.

In actual fact, if you can understand things like your ‘Personality Spectrum’, ‘The Effort / Benefit Balance’, the ‘Benefit Scales’, and 'The Divergence Technique' for example (all of which by the way, are fully explained in The LifeShaping Process), you’d be well on the way to feeling far more confident and more in control…  more in control of yourself, and more in control of your life.

Techniques such as the ‘Divergence Technique’ (again, a superb method described in The LifeShaping Process) have been developed over the years to help you to feel more confident, and, where appropriate, help you to boost your self-esteem… to do the things that work, and save effort by avoiding those things that don’t.

So if you feel judged sometimes, and feel like you’d prefer to feel more confident, in control, and with a higher self esteem, there definitely are ways to achieve it.

It just may be that you need someone to show you how!
