What are the Physical Causes of Erectile Dysfunction?
While it’s clear that there are a lot of psychological causes of Erectile Dysfunction, the process of getting and maintaining an erection is still a physical one.
Injuries to the penis, the testicles or the nervous system, problems with the blood vessels and circulation to the penis, high cholesterol, smoking, diabetes, too much alcohol, obesity, drug use, and a lack of hormones can all cause, or contribute to Erectile Dysfunction.
It’s always worth getting Erectile Dysfunction checked out by your doctor, who will be able to advise check for physical causes of impotence, as well as help you to see the benefits of keeping fit, stopping smoking, and maintaining a healthy weight.
