What is Acrophobia?
Acrophobia is the fear of heights.

Acrophobia can also be known as:
- Height phobia
- Phobia of heights
- Fear of looking down from high places
Where Does Acrophobia Come From?
Acrophobia, just like most phobias, come from an subconscious 'overprotection' mechanism. The fear of heights is caused by the mind over-estimating the danger caused by heights, believing that heights presents an actual threat, where in reality it may not.
Acrophobia can be caused by an 'unresolved' emotional conflict.
Can Acrophobia Be Treated?
