Agateophobia is the fear of insanity.

Where Does Agateophobia Come From?
Agateophobia, just like most phobias, come from an subconscious 'overprotection' mechanism. The fear of insanity is caused by the mind over-estimating the danger caused by insanity, believing that insanity presents an actual threat, where in reality it may not.
Agateophobia can be caused by an 'unresolved' emotional conflict.
Can Agateophobia Be Treated?
