Agliophobia is the fear of pain.

Where Does Agliophobia Come From?
Agliophobia, just like most phobias, come from an subconscious 'overprotection' mechanism. The fear of pain is caused by the mind over-estimating the danger caused by pain, believing that pain presents an actual threat, where in reality it may not.
Agliophobia can be caused by an 'unresolved' emotional conflict.
Can Agliophobia Be Treated?
