Where Does Ailurophobia Come From?
Ailurophobia, just like most phobias, come from an subconscious 'overprotection' mechanism. The fear of cats is caused by the mind over-estimating the danger caused by cats, believing that cats presents an actual threat, where in reality it may not.
Ailurophobia can be caused by an 'unresolved' emotional conflict.
