UK Government Plans to Force Cigarettes Under the Counter

The UK government has announced that it is considering plans to ensure that cigarettes are not placed on display in newsagents, petrol stations and other shops, and are instead to be sold from 'under the counter'.
The move is in an attempt to stop children for smoking.
The announcement also includes cigarette vending machines in pubs, clubs and restaurants.
