Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy for Weight Loss.

Many people find that when trying to lose weight, they generally fall into one of two categories:
1) Those people who have a little bit of weight to lose, and are looking for a little bit of encouragement and motivation to lose weight.

Pure Hypnoanalysis to Help With Weight Loss

Pure Hypnoanalysis seeks to find the root cause of a problem. When the root cause of a problem is resolved, the symptoms (i.e. the need to overeat) can disappear, and the change is for lasting good.

Pure Hypnoanalysis for Weight Loss
What is Pure Hypnoanalysis (also known as Analytical hypnotherapy)?
Pure Hypnoanalysis is used to treat the root cause of problem.
Pure Hypnoanalysis (sometimes referred to as analytical hypnotherapy) seeks to find the root cause of a problem.
It is a much more in-depth therapy than something like suggestion hypnotherapy (which is used to manage symptoms rather than resolve them).
The main benefit of Pure Hypnoanalysis is that once the root cause of a problem is resolved, the symptoms can disappear, and the change is for lasting good.
Cause and effect
Pure Hypnoanalysis works on the basis that every symptom has a cause, just in the same way that the term 'cause-and-effect' works in other areas of life.
Where the two different types of hypnotherapy differ so greatly, is the way in which they seek to help to deal with the problem.
While suggestion hypnotherapy works on the symptom, seeking to relieve the symptom for a while, Pure Hypnoanalysis looks at the root cause of the problem.
Underlying Anxiety
It is widely accepted that symptoms like panic attacks, phobias and social anxiety for example, are all different symptoms caused by an 'underlying' anxiety.
The symptoms differ simply because people handle situations differently, and so one 'underlying' anxiety might cause one set of symptoms in one person, and a completely different set of symptoms in another person.

Why There's More to Losing Weight Than Weight Loss
Anyone who has ever tried to lose weight, and has either struggled to lose the weight in the first place, or has piled it all back on again afterwards, will realise that there's a lot more to it than just dieting...
Dieting and Weight Loss
Estimates show, that at any one time, as many as one in three of us are currently on a diet, with over half of us having dieted at some time in our lives.
The truth of the matter is that, for the vast majority of people, 'dieting' on its own just doesn't seem to work in the long term.
The question is: why not?
The answer is surprisingly simple... dieting, in essence, misses the point.
