What we do with the information we gather

Via the contact forms:
- To enable us to assess whether our services could be of use to the person submitting the form
- To establish which kind of therapy session (if any) would be appropriate to their needs
- To assess which practice (if any) might be best due to geographical location (including therapists and/or therapy practices not part of Avon Hypnotherapy)
- To enable us to better establish whether age is going to be a determining factor in the potential efficacy of the therapies offered
- To determine the location of the practice preference
- To determine the submitter's preference in terms of the type of session or information required
- To have an (optional) telephone number to hand, so that we could respond to any queries more quickly and effectively
- To gather any further details that might help us to handle the submitter's request more quickly and effectively
- To enable us to determine the location and age demographics of those who use the web forms
- We may use the information to improve our products and services.
- Where the person is contacting Avon Hypnotherapy with regard to a training course, we may pass such details to a third party training provider.
- Where the person is contacting Avon Hypnotherapy with regard to referral to a therapist in a particular geographic area, we may a) pass such details to a third party therapist in order for that third party therapist to contact that person, and b) log the details for our own records.
Any person contacting us agrees that we may contact that person (including sending follow-up e-mails) from time to time to ensure that the person who submitted the form has received a satisfactory level of service
Due to the availability of telephone, mail, and e-mail contact, the use of the forms on the website is entirely optional. If choosing to use the contact form to contact us, the e-mail address is the only required field.
All information gathered is used as appropriate for our business purposes, including maintaining client records and associated accounting procedures.
Any information provided via 'post' and 'comment on this article' sections of the website may be published on the website, blog, and other online areas. The information provided is subject to review, and may be rejected without giving a reason.

We use commercial website hosting services which handle data transfer between the server and the browser, and vice-versa. As a function of the server activity, certain basic information about the browser (IP address, browser version, operating system, pages accessed etc) is logged. We have secure FTP access to this information.
How we use cookies
Our website does not use cookies.

Our website may contain links to enable the visitor to visit other websites of interest easily. However, once these links leave our site, it should be noted that we do not have any control over that other website.
